This seminar will present a survey of our Trans-History from its beginnings through to the present day. Moderator “Ar”lene will be joined by panelists Lannie Rose, Jamie Faye Fenton and Rev. Sky Anderson. Topics to be covered include : 1917 Dr. Alan L. Hart, 1930 Lili Elbe, 1952 Christine Jorgensen, Reed Erikson Foundation, Harry Benjamin, the first ACLU Transsexual Rights committee, Stonewall, Olympic scandals, Sister Mary Elizabeth, Jude Patton and birth certificate laws and their changes.

Arranged the first TGs into the CETA jobs training and placement program as a peer-counselor at LGBT in LA (1977) and facilitator of TS Rap LA (TG support group). Teamed with the letter writing campaign for AB 385 to change California Birth Certificate Law (1977). Started HRT(1972), GRS(1975) at Kaiser Hospital, LA. Married Bob (1976). America' first post-op TS to be licensed as an electrologist(1977). Currently, in San Diego. Presenter and panelist at Southern Comfort Conference 2007 and California Dreamin' 2007 and Colorado Gold Rush 2008.
