Dr. Joel Beck
Dr. Joel Beck graduated from the University of California Irvine School of Medicine after completing his undergraduate training with honors at California Polytechnic State University San Luis Obispo. He trained in general surgery at the University of California Davis and then went on to perform basic science research and clinical training in burn surgery at the University of California San Diego. He then completed an additional training fellowship in craniofacial surgery followed by his plastic and reconstructive training at the University of Mississippi.
Dr. Beck has authored numerous articles and has lectured at many national meetings on plastic surgery topics. The "Journal of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery," "Annals of Plastic Surgery," and the "Journal of Craniofacial Surgery," are to name just a few of his published works.
Dr. Beck provides excellence in his surgical technique and performs a number of cosmetic and reconstructive surgical cases, including maxillofacial surgery for acquired and traumatic deformities, breast reconstruction, microsurgery, scar revisions, burn reconstruction, and surgery of the hand.
