Carla Blair

Carla Blair is a hairdresser and cosmetologist who has been in the beauty industry for over thirty years, during which time she owned four salons. Twelve years ago she began working with the San Francisco Bay Area transgender community, and fell in love with it. She is currently the owner and operator of Carla's, the Bay Area's only fully licensed salon for the transgender community.

Carla has received much recognition and numerous awards for her service to the TG community, including TransGender San Francisco's Joanna Caron Memorial Award For Excellence, the Transgender Silicon Valley Angel Award and the Rainbow Gender Association's Community Service Award.
